Post 13 Who am I?

After waking this morning I still am in disbelief of what all has happened the past year. I can not believe James would do this to me, after all we've been through. I thought of him as my best friend, i guess he didn't feel the same way. I thought that he would not go behind my back and use what i told him about Flora, my Stepfather, and I, as false clues trying to frame me of killing my stepfather. I trusted him, I asked for his help. I did not think he would put me in that special home so I wouldn't be able of what was happening, thank goodness Poriot found me and informed me of what was happening. Also, I am very hopeful Ursala doesn't hold that I thought it could be her against me. I truly thought after all that my stepfather had done to her would of pushed her over the edge, that's why i had to get away. I know no i was wrong. I should of never left King's Abbott, none of this confusion would of never happened. Poriot could of found out of what James had done sooner. I am very thankful that M. Poriot took me in, and listed to what I had to say, a good man he is. Earlier today I got a phone call saying James committed suicide, and after all he had done to me I still am very sad. Later today I am going to meet up with Poriot to clear my name. He will let everyone know James killed my stepfather, Ackroyd, and it would be obvious to why James killed himself. This has been a tough year, hopefully life goes on with no problems like this again....

Post 12 Changes

At the beginning of the novel Max has total control over herself and has only conflicts of taking care of the flock. This all changes when they are found and Angel is taken away by the Erasers to the School. Everything changes for Max; she has to deal with many conflicts and take care of the flock. It causes her to do regretful things and good things. When she is told by Jeb of her huge responsibility that the whole world depends on it she goes through changes and starts to hear voices in her head, but unsure if she should follow them or not. Max comes from being in control of her life and the flock to being uncertain of what to do.

Post 11 A Tough Cookie

In Maximum Ride, the characters that are tough and don't give up are Max and Fang. Thought the story the two are leaders to the rest of the group. If something was to happen to Max, who is the main leader of the group, Fang would take over. The two stick together and help each other make decisions through out the story. They fight the erasers to protect the flock. Max is hurt pyhiscaly and mentally alot throughout the story, but gets through it with the help of Fang. " You okay" Fang asked. "Yeah," I muttered. "I'll be better tomorrow." "Go to sleep" said Fang. " I'll take the first watch."

Post 10 Conflicts Galore

In Maximum Ride, Max is dealing with a load of problems. While rescuing Angel, Max learns that Jeb is a whitecoat again, which is very painful to her. Next Jeb tells her that she is the one that will save the world. Max does not know how to take this information and it bothers her and effects here throughout the story, she becomes unfocused, which gets her hurt. " I was maybe ten feet off the ground when it happened again: Some unseen force shoved an unseen railroad spike through my skull."

Post 9 A title by choice

The title Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment gives you the main characters name and tells you what the problem and main topic are from the novel. The main characters name is Maximum Ride. The conflict in the story so far is to save Angel from the School. "Angel felt their admiration, their crummy pleasure. They liked all the things wrong with her, all the ways she wasn't normal. And all those stupid long words added up to one thing: Angel was an experiment." At the School, scientist are testing her and calling it the Angel experiment which is also part of the title. So the author give you two main things in the story before you even read it.

Post 8 Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment

In the novel the Maximum Ride, six kids that were experimented on and were given wings had escaped by the help of Jeb which was one of the scientist. The kids names are Max, who is the oldest, Fang, Nudge, Gasman, Iggy, and Angel, who is the youngest. Max takes care of all of them but cares for Angel the most. Later on in the story they are attacked by Erasers which are other experimented kids. The Erasers take Angel Back to the lab to be experimented on. However, Max, Fang, and Nudge go and try to get her back. Max will do anything to get her back as she goes through turn of events on the way there.
